We won the 1st match!!! Haha, so happy, we beat Outram Sec 62-61. Its really a tough tough match, 1st quarter we lost up to 10+ points, den 3rd quarter we chased back by 20+, but after awhile they chase back again. Until the last quarter we are only behind them by 1, den they chase back to 3, den we chase back to 1, this pattern only stopped st the last 1.30 minute. We were behind by 3, den Linjun had a foul-in, which means he was fouled while shooting and still gets a chance to shoot a free throw. His free thorw didnt go in, luckily Haoyi got the rebound and score 2 points, which means we lead by 1, 62-61, so we kept dragging the time, until Linjun did something den they got the ball. I was at the bench that time, everyone on the bench is like "wth you doing sia". They wanted to score, but Jacky fouled him, it was his 5th foul, which means he couldnt play in this match again. Den coach has to find someone to sub him out, den i down there "please , not me, not me!" cause i really damn stress, i damn scared i cannot get the rebound den they score, we jiu lose liao. Luckily that guy didnt score and the ball bounce to the direction of Haoyi, he get the ball, throw to Jiajun for fast-break, but its already 6 seconds, so we won! When we hear the whistle everybody really jumped up and shout.
So we cleared the toughest team in our group, next match is next friday against Bukit Merah. Win 2 more matches and we will proceed to 2nd round.
